Drew Adams (b. 1982) is a filmmaker, photographer, and composer from Santa Cruz, CA.
Adams co-wrote and directed The Cedars, a neorealistic snapshot of Central Californian working class life, which was shown as an official selection at the Manhattan Film Festival and the Santa Cruz Film Festival in 2014. He wrote his second feature "No Volveré" in New York and it's currently in pre-production in California.
Drew also led rock ensemble Zdrastvootie, with whom he has released 5 full-length albums on the Holy Mountain and American Grizzly labels and performed alongside Maher Shalal Hash Baz, Saccharine Trust, Deerhoof, and Old Time Relijun, among others. Aquarius Records described Zdrastvootie as "dreamy propulsive post rock that occasionally splinters gloriously into hyper complex free prog/jazz and staccato bursts of noisy improv chaos.”
